Mike & Ros
Mike and Ros had plans in place for an extension on their house, with part of the space set to incorporate a new kitchen. However, the process of finding someone to design and supply this kitchen was not going well.
Having trawled around numerous local studios they had resorted to an online design company but again the process was not going smoothly. Feeling overwhelmed Ros stumbled across our sister company, Newly Designed, and approached them about creating a design for the kitchen. Newly Designed specialise in design work for kitchen studios rather than working with the public so the enquiry was passed along to Nest.
Hannah is a very intuitive designer and immediately caught the vision Ros had for the new kitchen. After numerous phone calls and emails a design that fulfilled all the Ros was looking to incorporated was achieved, the high quality CAD drawings helping them to visualise the whole room.
The endless visits around kitchen showrooms had given them ideas of what door style and worktop finish they might like so with a new found vigor we set about helping them to pull the project together. Mike and Ros were not local to us so Paul met with them at the showroom of one of our manufacturers where they were able to see the quality of the doors and cabinets, peruse over the choice of colours, finalise their worktop choice and handle style.
With all their choices made and a design that they were delighted with, the order was placed for the kitchen. Their builder had given them an approximate date that the extension was going to be complete, weather and building inspectors dependent of course.
With this in mind a delivery date was booked for the kitchen to be delivered with the proviso that this could be held over should there be and building delays.
With the extension duly completed the kitchen was delivered, a couple of minor glitches were swiftly sorted and the fitting of the kitchen commenced. Paul was on hand, by phone and email, for any technical queries the fitter had.
